amanda falkson, director coaching city
As a life coach and consultant, Amanda’s business background includes working in top creative teams in some of London’s legendary advertising agencies on a portfolio of blue chip accounts.
After seven years, she followed her entrepreneurial instinct and set up and ran a successful events management company. During this period, she co-founded 'The Food Chain’, a London-wide charity that cooks and delivers specially prepared, nutritionally balanced meals for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Commercial success didn’t bring the fulfilment that she craved and she eventually reached her own ‘career crossroads’. She retrained in the field of integrative medicine and for 14 years had a physical therapies and counselling practice.
To further her skills, she went on to train as a psychotherapist and has accrued nine years’ training in psychotherapy and counselling. Amanda is a member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy and the Association of Humanistic Psychology in Britain.
In 2004, Amanda set up ‘Tough at the Top’ to coach CEOs in the not-for-profit and NGO sector and she is the career coach in Third Sector Magazine.
Clients who work with Amanda benefit from her warmth, humour and creativity and many find her knowledge of integrative medicine to manage stress-related conditions invaluable. She loves exploring the City on the weekends and stumbling across oases of peace.
